Minimum requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
* Bachelor degree in Aviation Management, Logistics, Business Administration.
* 5+ years of experience in ground services, airport operations, or aviation handling, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
* Strong knowledge of ground handling operations, airline procedures, and aviation regulatory requirements.
* Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic airport environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ground operations management software.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with stakeholders.
* Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate all ground handling operations, including passenger services, baggage handling, ramp operations, and aircraft movement.
* Ensure compliance with aviation regulatory standards, including IATA, ICAO, and local airport authority guidelines.
* Monitor and enhance operational efficiency, ensuring smooth and timely execution of ground handling tasks.
* Work closely with airlines, airport authorities, and service providers to enhance ground service quality and operational effectiveness.
* Manage and train ground handling staff, ensuring high service standards, safety compliance, and continuous skill development.
* Address passenger concerns, irregular operations, and service disruptions effectively.
* Oversee resource allocation, including manpower, equipment, and flight schedules, to ensure operational readiness.
* Maintain accurate records of ground operations, incidents, and service performance metrics for reporting and analysis.
Implement cost-control measures and optimize ground handling expenses to maintain budget efficiency.
* Participate in regulatory audits, safety inspections, and compliance checks conducted by aviation authorities.
* Develop and enforce safety and emergency response procedures for ground operations.
* Perform other aviation ground services-related duties as assigned by the Manager – GSD.
